I just got some new brembo rotors, and would love to keep them shiny and rust free over time.. is there any way to do that?

You can get them zinc platted. It'll take a day or two for it to cure. Other than that, don't get them wet and you won't see any rust?

they'll rust from the oxygen in the atmosphere.

the zinc plating will eventually come off and/or rust through. it only lasts so long, especially if you live up north.

A guy I work with has "summer' and "winter" brakes in order to keep his nice cross drilled rotors corrosion free!

True. Zinc plating is only good for the areas that the pads do not touch. The rest of the rotor will be rust free but where the pads wear they'll always be rust since it's bare metal. No big deal though, few hard stops will take care of that rust.
