Tape residue on paint...

I recently did some body work and i masked off the surrounding area with newspaper/masking tape. I kept most of the tape on the glass but a small piece touched the body, but i didnt think much of it since i did this before and i peeled the tape off with no problem. However this time the tape stuck on and ive tried scraping it off with my fingers, washing/scrubbing it, scraping it again in the heat of the day when the paint is hot, and ive tried bug and tar remover - all nothing. Whats a recommendable product and/or method to try for this? I was thinking Goo gone but i dont want to mess up the paint

Use gas, it will not hurt the paint. Even brake cleaner will do. Just don't use laquer thinner.

Goo Gone didn't hurt my paint when I used it. However, it will strip off the wax so be sure to wash/was the affected area once you remove the tape residue.
