Polished my dad's 4th gen headlights...

Polished my dad's 4th gen headlights...

They were cloudy and such...hindering light output. so i went to get some supplies and got to work. used 800, 1000, and 2000 grit sandpaper. all wet sanding. then finished up with meguairs plastx plastic polish. results look pretty damn good.

I only took a few pics of the driver side. passenger side was a bit worse in terms of cloudiness of the lens. so that side took a bit longer to polish.

good job man... Did the same to mine a few months ago.. But ive noticed I gotta use that plastic x every few days to retain that shine.... Anybody have any feedback on that?? I did wet sand them before..... I used the plasitc x now I just gotta reapply the plastic x every few days

Plastx (or whatever it's called) is what I've been using also and I've had the same issue of needing to reapply it every few days to keep it SUPER clean looking. It's still very clear most of the time, but not 100% as good as when it's fresh.
