Now this is detailing
Now this is detailing
I swear on some other forums, this guy is brought up almost once a month!
Guys, it isn't in the products he is using, I promise you that. It is all in his prep work. If you actually watch the few videos of him doing a buff job, he is very meticulous. I actually don't like Zymol waxes that much, and believe NXT or M26 would do just as good of a job, if not better.
This guy is so widespread on so many forums, I swear he is brought up at least once a month. He is good, but he is no miracle worker. You could probably find a detailer within 100 miles that could do just as good of a job for about a 10th of the price.

I read about this guy on another forum. Some guy got to help him out on a Veyron and explained the step by step process.
Had no idea how much he charged though. Don't think it's worth to get Zymol plenty of other waxes out there that get the same shine. Amazing though what you can charge for a detail, if people are willing to pay for it.

You can clean it in the sun as long as you keep the car hosed downed so water spots don't dry out on it.
You shouldn't really polish/wax in the sun, but that also depends on the polish/wax you are using.
Zaino you can use in the sun or the shade it doesn't matter.

pH neutral soap, 35deg Celsius water??? Funny that you can pay over $500,000.00 for a car and still be worried about damaging the paint. For as much as that car costs, the paint should be able to be washed with gasoline.

. Some people like that level of service and you can see in his prices they don't care what it costs.

read a few pages of the comments after the video.. lotta dumb people out there...
It is a lot of money, but as someone said - it protects your investment. Poor paint will hurt re-sale value, so why not ? Besides, spend half as much on an oil change, twice as much on new tires, what the hell is a few G's to make your car look new?

the "5" figure was in GBP... its more like 10+k USD...Good paint job? less than those guys were spending on a detail...
For those cars though? $$$$... keeping in mind though, you dont get your Supercar painted at Maaco....

that guy is prob. great at detailing/washing etc..... and he would get a heart attack if he saw my car....

although......if i inherited 12M$ like some dogs do.... maybe I'd contact him:-))

as i originally thought, claybaring is ok more than once or twice a year. i'm going to wash and claybar and wax today if i get a chance, cant stand summer being over and the mist from cold air settling in at night messin up the shine.
really. the whole thing washing under the sun thing is subjective on what kind of water you're using.
try using spot free water. it really doesnt matter if you live in the desert.
personally- i think whatever he's doing can be done for a much cheaper price. as said before- he just seems like he's EXTREMELY meticulous.
