Tinting the rear window need help....

I am about to tint the rear windows but I would like to take off that nasty film on my glass. I started to use a spray bottle with water and soap mixed and I am using the razor blade and I am being carefull to not to mess up the defroster lines but I have scraped over it a little by accident. I am now wondering if that will that ruin my defroster and will it work properly or not. I want to know if there's anything better then the damn razor blade and that damn sqeengy. THANKS

Get a HEAT GUN and a PLASTIC razor blade I highly doubt that a little knick in the lines will f00k them up.

I went auto zone and asked if they have a heat gun and they said
they have no clue what a heat gun is and I had to use the razor blade and maybe swiped some more lines here and there. I am really worried about the defroster.

If the defroster lines are scratched will they work and the lines are like gold and mirror like reflection.

You can get a heat gun at Ace Hardware, Home Depot, or Menards...I would think so at least.

Not too sure on your lines and how fooked up they actually are.

Is that a question?

Anyhow, if the lines are not broken, you're ok.

well.. yeah that was a question cause I am posting the question on the thread anyways I was making sure that the lines on the window were not broken cause the lines were swiped with the razor blade and saw it changed colors or mirrior like reflections however if you said that the lines on the window are not broken meaning the lines are not completley cleaned off the window and I only see glass thats good I was kind of worried cause if it was gone I would have to replace the glass. Thanks.
