how about ADDING pinstripes?

How hard is adding, or better yet, replacing the pinstripes?

Is it a job that should be done in a paintshop or can it be DIY?

If by a shop, how much are we talking about?

TIA

Better question would be to ask "how to remove" pinstripes.
(not that I'm trying to break your stones or anything, but I think your car will look a lot cleaner without them) I took mine off after they were wearing out and I'm glad I did. Looks 100% better.

I'm assuming you are talking about like a 3M Pinstripe stick on, not painted on correct?

Adding a 3M is not hard at just line everything up and level make your cuts where needed and remove the protectant clear film on top of the pin stripe.

But IMO I would really just leave the pinstripe off the car.

like everyone said. most people spend money to make the car look better........................

but i would think it'd be tricky. having the pin stripe down the length of the car without making it look uneven.....

Yep, I hear you all on removing it instead of adding another one..

It's just that I want these rims (black with red lips) but I would need "something else" red in the car... otherwise it doesnt blend in...

One idea was to replace the stock light-blue stripes with a red stripe at the same location... I'll try to photoshop at some point...

Bborges.... my suggestion would be that if you insist on added pinstripes to the max, don't get the do-it-yourself tape kind.... don't know where in CT you are but if you're willing to spend the money and come down to Long Island, there is an AMAZING pinstriper around here... his name is Nelson... he does all the high end dealers on the island and if you watch the show, you may have seen him on the show Unique Whips (Unique AutoSports in Holbrook)... I know him personally and I never minded when he'd interupt my detailing to stripe a car because he is amazing!
