I heard bleach works best. Dont dilute it either. Full strength bleach will do the trick.

It's not suede and I'd dab some all-purpose cleaner on a towel and dab the material with it...DAB, not smear

I don't know what the hell it is but apparently whoever put it in their must have went to a flee market with his wife and thought it was a brilliant idea

Unsure if it's treated with anything but if you where to clean it always try water 1st, dab and blot, the stuff looks like it's in a high traffic area, mine is charcoal but I wonder about the lighter colors, I've seen tan fabric seats in cars that are almost black, people hands and arms and women are covered in all types of makeup and lotions and moisturizers that rub off

The panels are made from sweatpants.

I use the Armorall oxyclean carpet cleaner. Like mentioned above just dab the area with a piece of cloth.

Proper cleaning

Whoever said to use bleach is full of sh** that will ruin it. I cleaned mine recently with Turtle Wax Upholstery Cleaner that I picked up at Advanced Auto/ Auto Zone. Just follow directions on can worked pretty well. I vacuum it before and after I cleaned it to help lift loose dirt.

I have the light gray material and I also have a 1 year old daughter. Thank god she's strapped into a car seat in the middle of the car. I dread the day when both her and the door panels meet. *sigh*

bleach comment was sarcasm...

Whatever you guys do, do NOT use a plastic bristled brush because it "scratches" the ****ing thing!

It's actually hand woven fine italian mole hair.

I clean mine with vinegar water and a pencil eraser.

Also excellent for cleaning contacts, seasoning on steak, and helping you try and unsee things on the internet.

I was just thinking "what the hell is this made of" the other day when I noticed some spots. Guess I'll try water first.

I'm not sure what it's made of, but I used the Tide-to-go pen on it. I think it was alcohol based.
