Quick Question About some "Cracked" Paint
Ok, so I washed my Max today, and afterwards, I clayed it for the first time. As I worked my around to the passenger side, I found this:
I have never seen paint do this before, and I am just curious as to what can cause this? I know this is on the body side molding, but there is also a spot a little further up the door panel that looks exactly the same. Does anyone have an idea as to how this can happen, or even if there is a way to fix it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Edit: Here is another picture with the paint "cracks" above the body molding on the door panel.

Also having similar problem, reflective coating is flaking off in random spots. Found some pockets of water between the color and finished, eventually burst out.
Do you leave yours parked in direct sunlight often ???
Mine spends all day in it at work and about 5 hours before+after work at home, the water is probably from moustire in the mornings.

This could be due to an imperfection in the paint and it is now starting to show its ugly side. It could also have been the minor impact of a stone from the road. At this point, the only thing that you can really do is sand it down and spot paint it.
