Did I get the wrong DA Polisher?

I decided on getting the UDM so i can polish and wax my car. I ordered it from here...http://www.autopia-carcare.com/udm-daspol-na.html in Augest. I've been in and out of down to i didn't really play with it or look at it closely but i started to use it last night and then looked at the model number and it said 7424. Has anyone ever ordered a udm from autopia-carcare.com? Can someone that has a udm send me a picture of what it looks like. Is this normal and i should not worry about it? Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

Well, the 7424 is the Porter Cable model. They look almost identical but I find it curious that it would be on your UDM unless they re badged the 7424 on you or something. I don't have a UDM so I can't rightly say that it should or should not be on your UDM but I can't see why it would be. Maybe the UDM is a 7424 with a stronger motor in it or something. I dunno but I'd inquire with AutoT to see what the heck is up.

you should be fine...do you have the counterweight on it? when you spin the pad by hand does it look like a drunk guy is spinning it where it's all over the place? if yes then you have the right DA.

OR are you asking about the PC model number?
