My first engine detail.

It was a learning experience indeed, but rather easy. Test subject was my mom's Altima with 5 years of dirt buildup.

Ewww...

Taped of the intake and one fuse box (missed the other one but it was ok).

Degreased (with a pinch of elbow grease), rinsed, and blown/wiped down.

Bling bling! 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Definitely some room for improvment but not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

right now she has the jwt intake, a few nismo accessories, and nismo maxima 19's with falken azenis tires. today i also added a deka intimidator battery and some new stinger ground wires in preparation for the system i will be installing soon. also waiting on an eibach pro-kit to show up with plans of an exhaust, grill, and nwp vias block off in the near future.

That did not sound right at all. But anyway, it's like my father. Before he wasn't into modding and now all of a sudden he is. Go figure.

Not too shabby Michael.

What degreaser did you use?

Standard hose, or pressure washer?
