Whats the best way to clean it all up under there..

 

cover up every thing that needs to be alternator wires etc ect. put some type of cleaner on which ever you feel is best and go to town, get a tooth brush and other things that can help get in tight areas. whatever you can take off by hand take off and clean thoroughlly. hit it with a hose if you want then go in again by hand. thats what i did. its tedious work but well worth it in the end bro.
