The headlights I purchased were painted with clearcoat by the previous owner. When I received them they were shiny and clear. Now, the clearcoat has pealed away on both of the headlights about 1/4 down. It looks like crap where it's pealing and I want to remove the rest of the paint.

What can be used that won't damage the plastic?
