How to remove scratches from interior?

How to remove scratches from interior?

i got some scratches on wooden door switches , and radio trims, can i buff them out? i got dremel rotary tool 300, should i use some liquid compound?
i heard some of guys used vaseline with good results....
or just sand them with finer and finer sand paper? any ideas??

The wooden door should have some clearcoat on it. So that would be a good method to use a compound to get that out.

With sanding it down, you better make sure you can take the sanding marks out...or else it will show.

also make sure the sanding is even all around otherwise the surface will be uneven
