White Pearl Compound Advice

Hi guys,

I have used int he past some Zaino + Clay on my 2000 white pearl and things were very good for a while, but it seems like a compound polishing is required.

I personally cannot do it, but my roommate works for Lexus body shop and has experience with the polishing machines. Only thing is, he is not so knowledgeable when picking the products (he uses whatever he has available in his shop) and the cars he works on are very new compared to my 2000 maxima.

My paint has not been polished at least for 6 years and this year I was really sloppy and let some oxidation occur, nothing major, but definitely needs some good compound work.

Could you guys recommend me something that will work well with a white car that has not been under the polishing machine before? Basically I need to shop for the products and he'll do the job for me.

Thanks in advance,

BB

The first thing he wants to do is wash the car, rinse it off, soap it up again and hit it with a claybar while it's still soapy to pull all the heavy grit out of the paint. Meguiar's Clay Kit will be just fine.

Then...

Winning combination, right there.
