What Is The Best/Thickest Clear Coat Around?

whats sup guys. couple days ago my car got a little scratched up on the right fender and bumper so i will be taking it to my uncle to be repainted. i read that alot of guys said nissan used thin clear coat on these cars so it gets scratched easy.

so whats the best/thickest clear coat i can use

From the picture it looks like the paint is on top of your paint, it should clay/buff out.

IIRC, you can get up to 3 coats of clear on a paintjob.

yea some of it is on top of the paint but piece of the bumper got cut so we gotta do that. so i was wondering what was be the best clear coat so when im washing the car or anything i dont get fine scratches

This is PPG ceramiclear, the description is not lying. We used this clearcoat on BMW, Mercedes, or any high end cars when they come in for repairs. The only thing I recommend is that you try to achieve as little trash as possible, because the cut and buff stage is a b**** when trying to get rid of swirl marks.
