Tire dressing
Hi everyone, I was wondering what you guys are currently using on your tires to make them shine. I'm familiar with some products, but it has been a while since I've been here following things and was wondering about the best new products or those old tried and true ones that you guys like the most. I'm looking for a nice shine that lasts and isn't necessarily a silicon base as i know that can take a toll on tires. I still use the Meguiars gel. Anyone use Shining Monkey or Poorboys (sp?)?

I use shining Monkey its pretty decent nothing bad i can say. Before i use Gold Class and for the same price well a dollar or two more i saw Shining Monkey and happy with its results. I like gel's better then sprays, you can control how much your actually putting on the tire and wont have any overspray etc.

i think i have Meguires Gold Class...i stopped caring about my Sentra but now that I have my Maxima i will start caring again..It is also a gel i believe. on a side note the sprays are good for wheels if you live where they use salt in the winter...it preserves them...

i use the gel and the spray but i always apply it to a tire dressing sponge, much easier to use and you can evenly control the amount of shine and no need to worry abt cleaning up over spray on the rims

I use Black Magic Tire Wet. What I've found over the years is I use a typical car wash sponge. Cut it in half, I use one piece for application of product to the tires and the other half I use for the dash. I spray the product on the sponge and apply it that way. This gives a really bright shine or a just enough shine depending on what look you are going for. I use the other half to use on the dash.
