This may sound strange but Wal-Mart sells a chrome polish that is a type of wadding and comes in a small round silver can. I've used this to remove water stains (totally by mistake) off of a window because nothign else would work. I was shocked.

I used a cleaner wax with a green polishing pad on our Infiniti i30. It had the same spots as yours. See the thread I just made.

Zaino Z-12 is a glass polish that is supposed to remove water marks. It even claims to be able to remove minor scratches from glass, but when I used some with my buffer it actually created scratches, so be careful when using it.

Unless the stains are on the inside, no.

I've used Autoglym's glass polish with good results.

I just used some Zymol Cleaner Wax with my Porter Cable 7424xp. But you could do it by hand as well, it would just require some more elbow grease.

Thanks, the poster who advised warm water and amonia = G.O.A.T

That worked and it was cheap... that sandpaper 0000 works well, I'm guessing this is the same scrubber you use to cheap the dirt off the headlights right?

Thanks to all.

I'm going to have to look up the name but I had awful water spots on my car and NOTHING would get them off I tried absolutely anything under the sun to try and get it off but it just wouldn't do it.

My dad found something that actually worked, it is a bottle with a powder in it, and it comes with two pads/sponges to clean with, you sprinkle some of the powder on the pad and add a tiny bit of water to it to make a sort of paste (mine was really bad so I went dryer and didn't add as much water)

Scrub in circles and the water marks come off!
