Did some paint correction on the Max.

So since it's supposed to be warming up over the next few days and spring is right around the corner I thought I should get the Maxima all shined up so the other day I spent some time buffing her up. I used 3M compound and 3M machine polish with my Makita buffer. She looks good even in direct sunlight now!

Yes, that's a lamp

Looks good. I kinda like how the gold rims look on the black car a bit too. It's something different.

Looks good. Black can be a difficult color to work with, especially removing those annoying swirl marks.

Update: Threw on three coats of Zaino Z5 yesterday, the car looks really deep and like a wet black. I'm going to throw 1-2 coats of Z2 on this weekends sometime to bring out the shine even more.

Don't mind the moisture in my headlight

This is a very, very nice car. Gold wheels on black looks smooth and clean. Are these factory gold wheels or you have them powder coated?

Thank you, they are factory 18" G35C wheels that were silver. I painted them gold myself last fall using the factory color code for the Subaru BBS gold wheels.
