224.6 hp - 236.3 tq 02 Auto SE

02 Auto SE

218.1 whp 228.0 tq
224.6 whp 233.6 tq
223.8 whp 236.3 tq

The numbers are actually a little higher than I expected from my last dyno of 211whp and 224tq. I have since switched the pop intake to the GAB, and added a test pipe and HKS rear section. My car seems to be making good power.

I will have the sheet scanned soon. My car is holding 200+ whp at 6600rpms so there isn't that much drop off as most made it out to be on the 02-03's.

Mods: WSP y and B pipe, UDP, GAB, HKS rear

Matt

Nice numbers.

I'll hold off on moving this to the moderated section until you get your chart scanned, since you mentinoed it.

The run viewer isn't as optimistic. That dyno reads high.

the normal stuff intake, y pipe, catback, pulley, groundin kit, i should be out @ the track soon with some slicks trryyin to beat my 13.62@103 on factory tires......since now the cars trappin in the 104+ range.

BTW i think the car puts out more hp...i put up those #'s on a mobile dyno during the Summit dyno challenge...everybody was about 5-10 shy of their normal #'s.....maybe because they weren't using any coolin fans in front of the cars and it was about 85+ degrees all day?...
I'll try to find my dyno slip ....its layyin somewhere around my house.

Yo, Im a rookie at Dyno's but, Why does The manufactor *Nissan put 255HP for 2002's and he is only getting dynoed at 223hp??? Please Explain why they say more HP than you get when dynoed??? I have a 1998 Maxima and stock it dynos in at 160hp yet Nissan says 190hp... Why????

If your car dynos 160hp at the wheels then it is making a near perfect 190hp at the crankshaft. Unless you remove your engine and run it alone on an engine dyno you will never see your stock rated hp because manufacturers, in most cases, rate vehicle hp at the crankshaft instead of the wheels.

Exhaust

I am purchasing a Y-pipe and B-pipe in the next week for my 02. I know the sales pitches. In real world quality / results who would you purchase?; Cattman or Warpspeed. I am not interested in increasing sound levels, but know there extra hp to be had. Any feedback?? I have already gotten the Cattman CAI; looks like nice piece.

If I was going to buy Y pipe today I would buy the Cattman.

Looking at BJS numbers makes me wonder if Nissan did not underrate the horsepower levels of the Altima? Those are some real impressive numbers from the mods he has installed!

Absolutely! When it's combined with other mods, you'll appreciate the UDP more...

By itself, it's still pretty good, though.
