How does the term "uncorrected" apply to dynographs?
How does the term "uncorrected" apply to dynographs?
I noticed in 95Maxrider's thread that he posted a dynoplot of 200+ whp and it was labeled "uncorrected". What does this mean?
plain and simple, the correction factor levels the field when comparing... but comparing dynos, we like SAE.
Uncorrected in 5* cold, and low humidity is not an 'ideal' (for comparison reasons) atmosphere.
And neither is 120* w/100% humidity.

Yes it does.
If you got the runfiles, and took the time to DL the runviewer, you could see all correction factors, or at least all that dynojet offers.
I like SAE, and it seems to be pretty popular around the .org, some Altima board people use STD, and some everywhere just use uncorrected ...

So the folks that use uncorrected are basically posting bogus numbers?
It's just so weird to me that different Maximas with basically the same mods are pulling numbers that are so far apart.

If they post uncorrected #'s, that's what their car was putting down that day in those conditions, as I said earlier, correction factors level the playing field for comparison reasons. More like Pissing Contest.
