242/238

So I rounded, 241.65

I could probably gain a few by leaning it a bit, but that's for next time. I knew 2nd gear would give lower tq #'s, so I did some 3rd gear runs. I would use 2nd for the smoothness of the curve and it's less creepy than going to 140mph.

Also did some 2nd gear runs in order to compare to my last session. This is basically comparing the 2 different intakes. Although I did add a UDP, but Interesting results nonetheless.

Congrats!! I was waiting for your results. Those are some smooth curves. So, did you go for the race gas or no?

I decided it wasn't worth it(race fuel) Not at this altitude. It's cheap insurance when tuning in the upper 13's/low 14's though.

The 3rd gear curves are more choppy. That's why I use 2nd, but using 3rd gave me more AFR conditioning resolution, hence better powah.

Previous best vs yesterday's run. Fatter torque curve.

Seems as if the curve stays smoother throughout the powerband when using the stock helmholtz type resonator. This can be seen on Z33 dynos as well. All have a small dip in the 5k's, and when we add a straight midpipe, we see the same dip. Stock resonator has friendly inlet sizing AND it's nice and smooth. Maybe sleeve it so air only goes one way, into the engine.

making a LOT more power under the curve than the previous best. and only slight power loss to 7200, obviously the result of the SSIM. would you say its the MAF housing or the spacers that give you that gain in the lower range? i guess you could say both, but which do you think helped most? impressive numbers, btw

Spacers aren't on just yet. Didn't have time last week to install the damn things.

Or all my other mods, I think they might have helped just a tad. No, it's because I'm using the stock muffler.

I haven't even really dove into playing w/ the AFR that much. TS does a good job, but i know there's more to be had with it.

Can't speak for the pulley, but altering the intake will always change hp AND the HP curve, no matter if it's AFR conditioned or not. It's factual with data to prove.

As already posted, there were other adjustments done, so you can't really conclude that just yet.

Both runs were w/ 0 corrections on the SAFC. So I do believe the curve change was a direct affect of the intake.

I blame it on the intake.

Wow great number and great powerband! Very smooth technosquare did a good job with the tune.

how come your TQ is falling like that, is a smooth and gradual decrease, but what could be done to fight that?

Still, making that much power @ 7000 But here's my theory.

have you thought about Aarons thermal spacer kit to combat heat soak?

I've had them forever just haven't installed them yet. Pretty sure it's not heat soak. Seems as when using 3rd gear, it takes a lot out of the car, especially with an extended rev limit.

yea a 3rd gear run with an AT would really take a lot out of the motor, especially after a couple pulls.

I would love to see a new dyno with the thermal spacers.

so let me get this straight.

did you get the technosquare before or after the 3" Maf?
You've done some moderate tuning with the SAFC on top of the TS, or you havent done any corrections with the SAFC yet?

wonder how much you would put down if you were an MT

Ya, later this year I'll get them spacers on and dyno'd.

I've had the ECU for well over a year. The MAF is new though. I've leaned it a bit via SAFCII. TS had it perfect @ 13.0 so I didn't have to do much. I would also like to see what the hell I'd have if I had an MT.

MAF didn't do much but screw with the idle a bit. It's all in the settings.
