I dont understand something though. My previous dyno at 7psi, the TQ peak was at 4400 RPM, and now my TQ peak is at 5.2k'ish. I dont understand what could have shifted the torque curve to the right. I have done the following, put header wrap on the charge pipe, put header wrap on the exhaust (excluding ypipe, everything else, catback).

Could it be the way im controlling my wastegate, I have it completely closed when below 10psi, as it gets close to 10psi it starts opening up. Before at 7psi, i just had a manual one that was set at 10psi all the time. Maybe having it closed completely while spooling up is causing a bit of loss in TQ and shifting of the curve? Also, the tq at 7psi was higher than hp, now its opposite.

That's a good set of dyno numbers, streetz. Now if you can take it to the strip and lay down some good times, maybe you'll be as quick as a sprayed automatic I can think of?

Update your sig.

Yeah, Streetz, I'm not sure what the deal is with the torque curve. Maybe explain to them your manifold?

Nah i have a 00vi with a working vias. How ever, i had done a couple things to the rod. i sharpend the plates on it to see if it improved top end, but im now thinking that this might cause it to leak air when closed, also i removed one or two O rings from the rod because it was getting stuck after it heated up. I compared my torque curve to my buddies which he didnt have a rod in the VI, and his dyno looks very similar to mine. so im thinking that w/e i did to the rod, is causing the loss of low end torque

Well i just took out the power rod, i moved the o rings closer to the vias, now the rod dosnt rattle anymore at idle like before. i went for a drive, and yea, big difference, it seems that the o rings not being present caused for air to leak or for the rod to not functon properly, i felt a difference right away, instant acceleration n power

bradenton is waaaay far from Miami. ~2.5-3 hr drive from where we live. Moroso is the closest (1hr 20 mins usually) respectable track to here. Theres a few 1/8mi tracks all over of course, but meh, no 1/4mi no care, lol
