Finally Finished....for now 3.5 SC

so my friend talked me into throwing on my supercharger on over the weekend. finally got some dyno numbers on the thing. the setup is pretty basic:

-VQ35 with 3.0 timing components
-stock 3.5 injectors
-vortech V2 blower w/ 3.6" pulley
-Blitz BOV
-Z32 MAF
-Super AFC tuned

i didnt realized i only revved it out to 6k until i looked at the dyno sheets. i was too excited that it broke 300whp on 6 lbs of boost.

i gotta clean up the bay a little then snap some money shots for ya

Interesting info here. Stock A33B injectors feeding clsoe to 320 who. What fuel pump are you using?

Are you auto, or just started the dyno early and ended early (re: RPM)?

That's a nice juicy torque curve, good numbers on that low boost, and a very adequate A/F curve.

Will be waiting for some pics. Enjoy your new power.

Ya, damn tachs are A lot of my early runs were let off early because the tach was off, so the operator THOUGHT I was at redline,

Nice work and nice graph. Would have been nice to see it revved out though of course. Just tell the dyno guy to keep going until the car bucks...

I take it you're running stock 3.5 cams with StephenMax adapters? What's the cam timing?

No problem, if I know that it's his adapters and you didn't make any special requests then I know what the timing is.

thanks guys. yeah im in pa. philly to be exact. right now I gotta get the power to the ground before I even think of putting more power down. also im not certain on the amount of forced induction the stock 3.5 can handle.

The rods & piston ringlands are good to around 450 with a good tune (which you already have)accordingtou the z guys. No worries...If you pop that motor I will find you one for cheap

I just traded in my 02 corvette Z06 for something more family orientated. When I saw this section of the forum, I chuckled. I'm used to seeing dynos between 450 rwhp and 800 rwhp. It's funny that people spend the money modding these cars only to see 300 rwhp.lol. well I guess it's no different, once you have a passion for cars it never goes away. Nice dyno btw. I like the tq curve. Rev that sucker up, let's see some peak numbers..

So what did you get (trade in for)?

What kind of times did your Z06 run?

There have been a few Maximas that have put down numbers well into the 400whp+ range. Makes for one heck of a sleeper. And of course many of our Nissan cousins in the G35/350Z world have pushed a lot higher on the VQ35 engine into the range you mentioned. It just hasn't been done a lot on the Maxima platform, for fairly obvious reasons. But there are always a crazy few/hardcore in any group.

I got an 08, precision grey, 3.5 sl. I really like it. I'm enjoying the smooth, quiet ride. I love the vette, but the loud exhaust and cam surge, was getting old quik.

Its nice seeing more S/Ced 3.5s on this board. It's almost motivating me to swap out my 3.5 timing components!

pics coming soon ive just been busy. making 300whp i understand doesn't sound like much but if you put it in perspective from what these cars come with, its a pretty good power gain and makes it more of a sleeper. Yeah you see corvettes on other boards put way more power down but they also have a lot more to work with starting wise and not so much on the sleeper side. Yeah I'm going to put it back on the dyno soon and this time I'll hit the ***** to the rev limits lol
