Dyno Question

I plan on installing headers and getting tuned soon. I was talking with a tech at firestone, and I told him I plan on getting a piggyback tuning system to adjust the air/fuel ratio after the headers are installed to maximize horsepower. He told me that it wasn't necessary to purchase a piggyback system, and I could just take the car to the dyno place, and they could adjust the air/fuel ratio right there to maximize the horsepower. I've never heard that before, though. Is that true?

pimp slap him... no really, I mean it... powder'd up back handed pimp slap... from the old school baby!

How the hell does he think the dyno people could "adjust the air/fuel ratio right there to maximize horsepower"? with some sort of a controller like A PIGGY BACK. If you have nothing to tune, how are they to tune? lol

The guy was just confused, because many dyno shops have flash tuning tools for certain cars, but for '03 & earlier maxima's that doesn't apply.
