Got dyno'ed the other day and came out with 170 whp/182 tq

01 ae, 5 spd with no mods.. it has 138 km(not miles)
Im still wondering why i put down only 170. Looking at the graph, VIAS engaged at 5k...

 

IDK... that kinda seem low to me... i thought stock, them things were like 190

hmmmm... i guess u gotta wait for the guru's to step in.... dont seem right though... any codes??? knock sensor??

 

What were the conditions? Just one run? What gear?

3.0 DEKs average 175-185whp

 

3 pulls in 4th gear. Two out of three pulls gave me 168 ....
175-185 ?
i thought it was 160-170 for autos and 185+ for 5 speeds?
No codes.. and i'v always used shell 91
Right away i though that vias isn't functioning, but when i looked at the graph it looked like it engaged

Your VIAS is working.

your a little low (by 10whp), but nothing to cause worry, could be conditions, could be the dyno miscalibrated, spark plugs are old, need an air filter, cats are clogged, etc. so your running fine and your AFR is spot on, so I wouldn't fret it. Do remember it is a 9 year old car (by manufacture date), and you have 138k miles so it does have a slight affect as well.

Irish44j's Max dyno'd at 210whp, he had PRCAI, y-pipe, timing advance, catback.

I managed to squeeze 225whp out of my auto 2000, but I did it in very cool, dyno friendly conditions as well as a very aggressive tune.

So for stock your about right.

 

Ha, at least youre not in my shoes...3.5 w/ mods listed in my sig....got 175hp....i have a thread on that, and dont wanna jack you though...your dyno just reminded me of the dyno i recently got...i still havent troubleshot it yet

 

Woohoo, happy mine weren't close to your stock numbers lol. I know we were getting a good laugh that I ran almost stock. My tq was the exact same . I hope in July I will get some vegence on my crappy A/F and beat Faisal's 244

Then it was the calibration on the dyno, it was off.
