Few Suggestions from a Newbie

I know I'm still a new to the site but I have a few suggestions from experience from other forums.

1 - When you reply to or post a new thread. It should come up on the top of the list of threads. I know the Altima forum does this so that members can keep track of what threads they replied to or if someone replied to theirs.

2 - Chatbox. I used to be on the myspecv forum and thespecvboard. They used a chatbox that updated everyone online with a chat message on the main chatbox on thread replies or new threads. They also used this to help keep threads uncluttered with spam conversations in other threads and allowed the whole community to comment on the conversations as well.

These are just two of the features I think would help utilize space in the forum.

I'm pretty positive, stickies aside, that new/replied to threads do get bumped to the top of each forum...

just curious, why would a chat box work? Similar to FB chat I assume he means. BUT, I guess if MOD's can't monitor it, it ain't gonna fly

No i mean to the top top above the stickies. They do this on the altima forum and i like this feature since it helps me not have to look to threads that i posted on

Not like fb. Like a public chatbox. It would show new posts in chat box while people chat with eachother in a big group

Stickies must go above all.

There are too many things going on here for that to work.

A chatbox on this forum...? Considering no group of "genners" can ever agree on anything between generations, I can already predict how well that would go over.

1. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. System works great the way it is.

2. Chatbox? That's for highschool girls. Worthless feature.

Agreed. The Chatbox is lame. It's just a distraction when I visit forums that have those.
