Slow Site

Is it just me and my outdated system, or is the Org running slow these days? Other sites that I visit seem fine.

I have noticed some lagging and stalling. When I click on something it will just sit and not do anything, and if I click it again or reload the page it will go through.

I've tried to pay attention to this. It seems that it's "snagging" up on the Facebook/Tweet/Submit crap that is now connected to every page. Seems the page and images load right up, but then it takes several seconds to load/connect the FTS links/buttons.

I appreciate trying to modernize the site and connect where people are socializing, but I vote do away with the FTS junk...I want my sleeker and faster Maxima.org.....oh, and my MTV!

I have a different issue, but since I don't have 15 posts yet I have to resurrect this thread...SORRY mods/admins..

The forum maxima.org does NOT load for me in FireFox at all, but IE and my mobile browsser work fine. It's just the tab, and @ the bottom it switches from "waiting for..." to "looking up..." to "connected to..." and back again. I have updated FireFox and it still does it. once again, IE is fine, and I use several other VBulletin forums on FireFox with no issues. And I have no popup or adblocksers instaled and it still acts up. I hate IE and don't want to log into the site with only it... :-(
