Switch to Synthetic Oil at 84K

I will be switching to full synthetic oil when my car gets to 84K miles, I'm pretty much set on getting Mobil 1, but I'm not sure which. (I'll be using Nissan OEM filters)

5W30 or 10W30 or another? I live in NJ so the summers can get hot and the winters can get cold (like this past one)

I also heard that Mobil 1 oil is thinner than regular oil at the same rating so this got me even more confused

I searched around for this but kept getting mixed messages

can anyone help me out? thanks

I changed at 87k, and use Castol Syntec 5-30 in the winter and 10-30 in the summer, BTW, I have 191k now

It is always hot here in houston, what does the different weight mean, should I use 10w30 or 5w30?

Either or will work for M1 in Houston. 10W-30 would be the more stable choice.
