does anyone know how to lub the antenna rod

The grease on my antenna rod is dry up and washed away.
Anyone know what kind of grease I should use to lub it???

Thanks

For years I have extended the antenna, sprayed WD-40 on a towel (away from the car) and polished the antenna. Usually took a couple of applications to get all the crap off of the antenna.
