It's possible to flush...albeit its very messy and not too safe, plus you might have a good chance of running the system dry.

I did flush mine by removing the return hose on the bottom of the reservior and had help, 2 other people to be exact. It takes one person to move the steering wheel right and left, one person to keep the reservior full, and the other person to hold the return hose and pan in line so you don't create too much of a mess.

I would advise to use the method in the post at the top though. Its not really worth it to flush it. Just use the method in the top post after a couple of cycles and you'll be alright.
