Is the fluid in the power steering resoivor supposed to move around, kind of like when you blow air in threw a straw in a cup of water?

C'mon please anyone, the fluid in my p.s. resovoir is slightly moving the level stays the same just the fluid doesn't stay in place. The steering is just fine. No noises/squeels anything? So is this normal, my mechanic said its the p.s. pump causing the fluid to move around like that.

Yes, the pump constantly circulates it.

Yeah, every max I have seen does the same thing. A lot of cars don't have a clear reservoir so you can't see the fluid inside.
