how many possible drain spots on a manual 4th gen tranny?
I know of 3... well i'm not sure about one of em.
1. drain bolt on the "other side" (the side not facing the wheel) of the tranny
2. the shift sensor
3. and there's a bolt somewhere in the front bottom (im not sure). When I saw a mechanic do this, he unbolted a random bolt on the tranny and the fluid poured from there. Damn, it was a long time ago, but I think i can find it...
I just want to know the easiest way to drain it. I'm going to do it tonight after I head out to the movies... this way the tranny oil inside will still be warm from the 10mi. trip on the freeway.
Thanks.

The bolt that was designed to be used as a drain for the gear oil is the one listed in #1 above. It's located right by the crossmember and faces the PAX side wheel.
