Fuel Additive in a 89' Maxima? is it ok

I just bought my 89' Maxima from my parents and im trying to tune it up so it will run good and wont break down, it has 190,000 miles. My question is, is it safe to put that fuel additive in it that cleans the injectors and valves and stuff????? thanks for the help

If you're referring to those bottles that you're suppose to add 1 bottle every 20 gallons of gas or every oil change or on every gas fillup (depending which one you get), I can't see why not. I add some every now and then, but whether or not it does anything, I haven't noticed anything significant yet.
