Should I use this gear oil?

OK so Im going to change my gear oil tomorrow and I was able to find a local place here that sales RedLine. They didn't have the 75-90 GL-4, but the guys asked me what I was driving. I told him I had a Maxima 5spd and he said that I could use this

He said this would actually make me shift faster . I think he saw my ricer face. But any way is this good to use or Im I going to blow my tranny with this stuff?
I live in Arizona so its not too cold here. Temp right now is like 52F

well...if he said it would work, then it will work---otherwise you can get a new tranny out of it if it doesn't..lol

The MTL is for colder weather. The MT-90 is the one I'd use if I never encountered any cold at all. Still, it's the 2nd best thing you can get.

I live in Utah and use the MT-90, it works beautifully during cold weather, no sluggish shifting at all.

You can use that, but your much better off with MT-90 come summer time. Your tranny is going to run much hotter with that light a gear oil in those 120 degree temps.

Yup that sounds like Arizona
Any way I went back to the store and they actually had MT90 so I got that instead. Now the shifting feels so much better.
