Proper grease to use on caliper pins

Hi im wondering what brand or company makes the correct grease to use for caliper pins? Besides the OEM stuff. Ive been looking around for a specific product to use and all I am finding is "use a high temperature grease". Are there any specific brands sold at like Autozone or CAP that I can use? So far Ive only had the dealership recomend one, but it costs $58 for a tub of this stuff which would last me more than a lifetime. Any recomendations ?

Use synthetic lube for calipers. Synthetic lube is required for rubber components applications. Other types of grease or lubricants contains petroleum solvents that corrupts rubber.

When I helped my buddy do the brakes on his VR-4, he brought some little $0.25 packets he got from autozone. They were specifically for greasing caliper pins and seemed to be good stuff. They were black, but I don't remember the brand.

Old thread revival....

Here is a pic of what my driver side rear rotor looks like...new rotors, pads and that caliper is new within a year (10,000 miles)

Now onto the "Lubricant" Part. Is this stuff ok to use on the slide pins? I was told it was but in reading the back of it, it says is contains some sort of petrolium. I am going to pull the brakes off tonight and see if the slide pins have seized causing the uneven wear or if the caliper is shot.

Or should I have gotten This Stuff.....Or something different??

EDIT...Ah well, i went with the gray stuff since I had it in the garage. I had some on the slide pins from a year ago and they were still moving freely now. As for the uneven brake wear...the caliper was seized.
