has anyone tried this so called: "miracle product"...on their maxima? is it any good, does it do anything? did you notice any difference in mileage or power?

you know, that triple pack of stuff, one bottle for engine, one for tranny, and one for gas tank...

 

Don't do it. Fuel system cleaners are generally accepted to be useful, but most of these other additives are useless, at best, and will cause engine damage at worse. The manual specifically recommends against such additives, for good reason.

 

They were sued by the FTC and had to pay a huge sum of money for false advertising. It's not just Z-Max, but all of these types of products. The FTC has sued them all and won every time. Most of these products contain chemicals that actually corode the metal inside your engine.

 

I was dumb enough to fall for their products after watching tv ad. Their product is garbage. I got 2 checks from them because they got sued.

 

Zmax was the product that caused high corrosion. Don't feel dumb. I fell for the Duralube crap years upon years ago and at the time I would swear to anyone that it worked wonders. Now I just go on factual scientific data. Amsoil!

 

Yea after ZMax, I refuse to buy any additives from TV
