i haven't seen any places around me (CA) that accept used coolant. I know autozone takes used motor oil. Where do you guys use to hold the used coolant during your flush?

I went to a quick change lube shop and asked. They also did coolant changes. I ended up paying a buck a bottle to hand it off to them, but it was worth it.

My concience is now at piece.

As I was flushing, I was creating empty 1 gallon jugs that contained the distilled water. As I emptied a jug, I filled it back up with the old coolant. I had 10 of them that I got rid of.

Check out a site called www.earth911.org Click on Household Hazardous Waste and it will give a listing of places who accept coolant, oil, batteries, etc. I use it all the time for recycling various things.
