Is it a good idea to change my gear oil?

I have royal purpe gear oil that ive been wanting to change.... you cold out to do it... is it a good idea to do it ene though i highly doubt it has ever been changed? i have a 5 spd.. how many bottles/ liters does it take? just wanted your opinions thanks a lot

The gear oil should be cnaged every 30K miles.
It will take from 4.5 - 5 bottles to fill it up.
Make sure you get the right stuff for your weather conditions

About 10 for the automatic, about 5 for the manual.
