Generally speaking, I prefer AMSOIL SDF filters over the Mobil 1 filter. The filtering medium used by AMSOIL is a combination of cellulose, synthetic and glass fibers which give their filters outstanding efficiency, capacity and longevity. Also, last I saw the price of a M-1 filter, I believe it was $11.99 at AutoZone...AMSOIL filters are more competitively priced. The Mobil 1 filter is definitely a good product; however, all things considered, i believe the AMSOIL filter is a better value.
