I just got done dropping my trans pan, replacing the filter, gasket, bolts, etc. and refilling with Mobil 1 ATF. I'm the second owner, and juding by the contents on the magnets, this was probably the first time the pan was dropped and cleaned. (Car has 75k mi) I plan on driving until my next oil change and draining/refilling the syn ATF again, since I just switched over to syn.

Now to my question, has anyone ever used Sea Foam Trans Tune? Would it be worth while throwing some in prior to my next ATF drain/refill to clean out the tranny?

Just stay doing frequent ATF refills from now on, and if at all, consider using Lubegard products. You don't want to start messing around and adding cleaners to that tranny at 75k. It may do more harm than good.

Just did a 3rd drain and fill with Mobil 1 at 27k and added a bottle of Lubegard ATF Protectant to it. Let see how it does...
