Anyone uses seafoam to clean engine?

Hi, I'm thinking to clean the inside of the engine. Have anyone done this? what kind of seafoam should I get? Is it safe to do it? And how you do it...i can't use search..weird..and this is not in detailing forum...

i have used seafoam to clean a couple of altimas and a 240sx. the were all 4 cylinders though never used it on a vq engine. worked well when i used it, i put some in the gas tank, some in the crank case nad poured about 1/3 of the bottle into the brake booster line. just read the back of the can it tells you waht to do i have had good results
