oil change...what to use...?
changing the oil for the first time by myself in the maxima,

any suggestions as to the type of oil? filters? what do u guys use?
10w -30 right?

Mobil Synthetic with OEM Filter.. the best. Check out the fluids forum for more info.

I stick to 5w30 Mobil 1 and Nissan OEM filters.. but next time post this in oil forum

how is amsoil synthetic oil with an amsoil oil filter? thats what i used last time... my dad bought it and said it was good so i didnt have much say in it

I use Castrol 10-30 and fram oil filters. Change every 3000 miles.

Amsoil 0w-30 and Mobil 1 oil filter. The best of both worlds

Mobil 1 5-30 or 10-30. Purolator PURE ONE filter or OEM. Using Amsoil synthetic in my MT 5spd, it was a bit cheaper than RedLine. No problems.
