mixing oil

is there any problem with mixing oil? i was changing my oil and used about 75 percent 5w30 and 25 percent 10w30. i meant to use all 5w30 but it was too late when i noticed. it is all the same brand. i figure there shouldnt be a problem, but just checking

That's not as bad as mixing synthetic and non-synthetic, so you should be alright, jsut a matter of viscosity that's all.

Don't worry about it. You can safely mix engine oil. Think of it this way; you blended the 2 characteristics of 2 different oils.
