Having transmission flushed tomarow...

So i called the dealer up today to schedule to have my fluid in my tranny flushed tomarow. they said that if i am already having problems it wont help me. but from reading around the .org i was under the impression it solves a lot of issues. so my question is since my tranny slips somtimes changing gears, mostly on higher rpms, also its jerkey going from first to second, would this all be solved from doing this? im am at 113k and i have an automatic.

Thanks!
-Tom

At that mileage, it may be your transmission failing. Attempting an oil change is the cheapest solution. I'd definately try it first. I got another 10k out of my transmission by changing the oil when it was starting to go.

If you are at 113k and you don't think the fluid has been changed, I would NOT have a flush performed. Reason being is that the flush forces the fluid through, which can be harsh on a neglected transmission. Instead, I would do a series of drains and refills. However, if you have been replacing the fluid on a regular basis, then by all means get a flush.
