I read up that power steering fluid is the same as ATF. As long as I use a dexronIII fluid I should be ok. I had my tranny flush done at a shop and am pretty sure they used Nissan OEM tranny fluid. Would it be ok to use Redline powersteering fluid? Do power steering fluid and tranny fluid ever meet somewhere within the auto system?

I use Mobil 1 syn ATF in my power steering. I've flushed the resovior several times with the syn ATF. IMO, using syn ATF is the only way to go. You can get at least two flushes from one qt.
