ATF Service on Max

Ok i have about 40k on my 02 max and have not touched the ATF. I am planning on doing a complete flush in 2 weeks and put that Amsoil fluid in. is there a tranny filter that should be changed as well and which brand? Also what is the correct type of Amsoil fluid i should use and does anyone have an idea of how much i will need. thanks.

there is not a tranny filter but a screen. if you drop the pan then you can clean the screen or replace it if its damaged. any atf should work as long as its mercon/dexron III compatible. if you using a flush machine then you will need 10-12qts but a drain and refill and dropping the pan should yield around 5-6 quarts.
