From the sticky on oil and oil filter, it says the part number for VQ30 engine is 15208-9E000, whereas my 98 I30 manual says 15208-31U00.

Does this mean that the parts are different for a 4th gen Max and A32 I30s? If so, can the sticky be updated with the correct info?

no that 31U00 filter sucks, i thikn it had cardboard endcaps, the 9E000 is a good quality one
