Oil Change Interval

I only drive 5500 miles a year, including 1000 mile I usuall rack up during summer vacation. So, do you think I can change oil every 6 months?

IIRC according to the owners manual, it has two schedules, every 3,750miles/3 months whichever comes first or 7,500miles/6months whichever comes first.

Just ship your car down my way so I can put some more miles on it for you. Every 6 months should be okay unless you do a lot of idleing, short trips in cold weather or driving in dusty conditions. If you do any of those, I would change it every 3 months or 3000 miles.

I would change it every 3 months if not less just to keep your engine running clean and to its fullest. Your oil just becomes viscous and heavy after a period in your engine no matter if your driving alot or not.
If ya need some more miles put on your car though, you can bring it to me and i will most def help ya out. LOL
just my .02 cents though
