HOW often do you change your AMSOIL? Do you change it at 25,000 miles or 1 year like the container says or sooner?

How often do you change your Oil Filter when using the AMSOIL?
I maybe drive about 10,000 miles a year. So I use AMSOIL 5w-30 for about a YEAR and change the filter every 3,000 miles.

Just want some insite to what others are doing. Thanks

I would half the 25k mile interval and cut the time back to 9 months. Amsoil tends to thicken up in the Maxima because it is full of insolubles. Since you are in Alaska, the Series 2K 0w-30 would be more appropriate for the extreme cold.

As for the oil filter change, the 4-5 month/5k-6k miles would work. As for the oil filter, the NAPA Gold 1334 would work or the Mobil 1 M104, or the Amsoil SDF 20. All of these filters are slightly oversized to the standard thimble sized filter.
