mobil oil

I was just wondering if anyone has ever used the new mobil oil thats suppose to be good for 15,000 miles? theyre suppose to be fully synthetic. Its really not that much more expensive than regular synthetic oil which kinds of makes me suspicious but then again i've heard of bimmers that goes a whole year without oil changes.

also anyone know why most stores dont have 26" wiper blades??

I just bought some of that extended 5w-30 oil, I have no idea how long i'm going to leave it in. I drive 90% expressway so i would think I can leave it in a while.

at that price it should last 15,000 miles. They have yet to provide a oil filter that can do the same.

I just went to walmart and I saw the new mobil 1 oil's and they are all really cheap. Is this correct or is a mistake by walmart or something. They have 5000, 7500, and 15000 oils.

They had 5000 mi oil for 1.83/qt, 7500 was like 2.83/qt, and 15000 for 4.18/qt. I'm really tempted to go for the 5000 mi oil since its less than have the price of the old mobil 1

The 5000 and 7500 oils are Dino oils, not synthetic.

If the bottle said synthetic on it, then you better grab as many as you can before walmart realizes the mistake they made.

Here's information straight from Mobil1.com:

"Mobil Clean 5000 has a boosted level of cleaning performance to help prevent the formation of sludge and harmful deposits and provides outstanding wear protection of critical engine parts during today's longer service intervals. Mobil Clean 5000 is a premium conventional motor oil with extra cleaning agents compared with our conventional oil.

Mobil Clean High Mileage is designed especially for higher mileage (75,000 miles-plus) vehicles. This conventional motor oil includes seal conditioner to help prevent leaks in high mileage engines. The product conditions seals to help prevent leaks and provides extra cleaning performance to help prevent the formation of sludge and harmful deposits.

Mobil Clean 7500 is a synthetic blend formulation that includes 18 percent more cleaning agents than our conventional oil to help prevent the formation of sludge and deposits during today's longer service intervals.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance is our premier, fully synthetic formulation with the Advanced SuperSyn System, which provides exceptional oil life. The product's extra performance additives help deliver outstanding engine protection during longer service intervals."

Hope this helps.

Does anyone know the answer. When mobil 1 switch to supersyn label, was it a true synethic. Back when the whole castrol vs mobil case, I used mobil 1 supersyn and it just changed to supersyn, I thought I read that it wasnt a true synethic. So where there a time with mobil 1 wasnt a true synethic. Now it is again?????????

hey whats a good brand of wipers to use? i have the anco ones on and they really suck, leaves a streak every time. are the rain-x ones better? or is there a brandi should invest in?

also i put in 4 quarts of the extended performances today and i guess its a little smoother than before. I can't feel the car shift now. i know the manual says 4 and a quarter quarts but is it ok to put in only 4?
